About One Call

One Call Insurance is one of the fastest growing brokers in the UK. Offering a full insurance service from motor, home, travel and motorbike insurance, one of the main attributes to this growth is that One Call offers customers a comprehensive package of benefits to all customers. The group also gives business owners a helping hand with OC Commercial, which offers commercial insurance to a wide range of businesses.

Employing over 250 people, who are mainly based in the Doncaster office, One Call is a national organisation which can be found on all of the major comparison sites such as Compare the Market, Confused and Go Compare. The company has recently advertised on ITV1 to raise awareness of the brand and with it launched 3 company mascots – Cedric, Fred and Squeak.

The office
In Doncaster you will find One Call in a newly built, open plan office which boasts air conditioning, a staff canteen area and (limited) on site parking. All new employees undertake a 2 week training programme, and will receive regular on the job training, with the opportunity to study for recognised insurance qualifications.

Departments
One Call Insurance has a number of departments which staff are often encouraged to move around because we believe that learning about different roles means that you never feel that your job is repetitive and that you will always have an opportunity to grow within the company.

Most people are recruited into the Sales teams which focuses mainly on motor insurance. This gives staff a firm understanding of the insurance industry and acts as an introduction to the rest of the company. The other departments hosted by the company are; Customer Services, Claims, Administration, Retentions, Renewals, Outbound, Accounts, IT, Business Development and Marketing; there is even a Polish-speaking department which caters for the Polish-speaking community which has recently grown within the UK.

Trainee Insurance Clerk

MEETS NAT MIN WAGE £18,000 PER ANNUM OTE Hours

40 HOUR WEEK MONDAY – FRIDAY BETWEEN 9AM – 6PM. WEEKEND AND EVENINGS ON ROTATION.

Description
No experience is required as full training can be provided. Good communication skills are essential. Duties include setting up car insurance policies over the phone and via the internet, general clerical work and other associated tasks as required.
